KOHARAPAYL to meet with Rabih Abou-Khalil

KOHARAPAYL’s producer Sevag Seropian has arrived in Armenia and has scheduled to meet with the band and internationally renowned oud player and composer, Rabih Abou-Khalil together with John Kassabian from HAYASA Productions team and Michael Gross from Berlin, who is as of recently closely involved and monitoring the group’s activities .The purpose of this meeting is to discuss a future collaboration with KOHARAPAYL. Such a collaboration would bring about a new fusion of ARMENO JAZZ music through diverse techniques that both parties are skilled in and would contribute to another unique hybrid of traditional music and jazz that is characteristic of the musician’s musical explorations and achievements.

Following this meeting KOHARAPAYL and Rabih Abou-Khalil had a workshop and jam sessions which turned out to be fun and fullfilling for all partecipants.
